Huck Magazine. I bring you some of what I feel are the must sees in the skateboarding world. There’s kids like JAWS breaking big ollie records (Frankie Hill, Kris Markovich, and Jeremy Wray would approve) whilst doing clean 540s in the gnarliest pools. Alien coming way outta left field with this rider. Basically the opposite of Dylan, this dude is the demon child of Pete Ramondetta and San Francisco Giants Relief Pitch Brian Wilson. This is definitely the strongest stuff I have seen out of this dude and I can’t wait to see more. The last trick is Sunset Carwash worthy.

Shralp City! How do you wreck up an 8″ curb and make it look like jacked up mini ramp? I don’t know brother you tell me? Taking it way back here. The mid-80s were definitely dominated by Powell Perlata and Santa Cruz, then H-street came into light, then kaboomaaah Blind and New Deal. The rest is debatable, but DS’s impact is undeniable.

Btw, these OG video clips are what I do during my breaks in between doodling graphics. Dialing in the Fall. They don’t come often, but when they do they do. What does that even mean? Got some ideas being chucked back and forth. It’s been almost 3 years since we started this here little project. And I tell you this much, NOTHING HAS CHANGED! Still on our own time, still doing it exactly the way we want to do it, or not do it. Happy belated birthday to my bro and partner Race! I couldn’t ask for a better dude. Wahiawa and Mills 4 life!

No real updates lately. I’ve been doing my fair share of travelling this summer. A wedding in Seattle, a wedding in Pheonix, AZ, b-line through Jerome, Sedona, Flagstaff, and the Grand Canyon. Then an East Coast romp through New York, Gettysburg, DC, and Philly. More drinking, eating, and excuses than skating. Many goodtimes. Same thing. Thanks for all the compliments and support on the FITTED MYNAS PACK! Yea, we are stoked too.

We’ve been throwing ideas back and forth for over a year now and in the end the answer was so simple it was genius. A design and subject that represented our culture and accurately embodied the collaboration of both brands. We proudly present the FITTED X OLDE IVORY MYNA Pack.

Keeping with our tradition of clean one hit designs with simple type, the MYNA Pack is already an instant classic. We are a humble manini brand and releases as great as this one are few and far between. We could not be more psyched! The MYNA Pack is only available at Fitted.

Press

The Myna Threat Design was conceived out of the core attributes which make up Olde Ivory: baseball, punk rock, tongue-in-cheek humor and Hawai’i. For those of us who have had the good fortune of being raised in Hawai’i, the common Myna has held a special place in each and every one of our hearts. Growing up, going on field trips to Kapiolani Park, throwing your scraps to the flocks of Myna who frequent the Banyan trees in the area, listening to their chatter, wondering what they could possibly be saying to each other. The Myna, a member of the starling family, made its way to the Hawaiian Islands in the 1800s. Though the Myna is a pint-sized woodland omnivore, it is known for its aggression and territorial behavior. We proudly present our humble tribute to the Myna bird.
